Harmandir Sahib — a gold-leafed shrine on a lake, open on all four sides, where 100,000 people are fed free every day and anyone can help.
History & Background
The pool was completed in 1577 by Guru Ram Das; the central shrine by Guru Arjan in 1604, who installed the first copy of the Guru Granth Sahib.
